My approach to each photo shoot is simple – every job is a blank canvas. I analyze each person's features and use the lighting and perspective controls to make them look their best. If my subject has ideas that they would like to pursue, I incorporate these with my interpretation. I feel that my goal is to produce a look that my client is comfortable with and that makes them look their best.

Portraits may be photographed on the beach, in a garden, at your home, in-studio or at another location of your choice. Portrait prices start at very reasonable prices for local location or studio sessions. I offer online proofing for every portraiture, print proofs are also available.

Family Portraits

My photographic style is relaxed and natural.  I make people feel comfortable and in return I am able to capture their genuine expressions on film. My portrait style is also a blend of casual and formal portraiture.  This gives you the best of both worlds.  You get the classic portraits plus candid shots that capture all the emotions and details of your life. A meaningful location is an important ingredient for a great portrait, so I photograph at a site that is special to you.  For example, the beach, a favorite park, your home, or some other meaningful place.

Most sessions last about an hour.  This gives us plenty of time to try a variety of poses and natural backgrounds and you'll get lots of great photos to choose from.  If you have children, I allow time for them to become comfortable with me.  I believe in capturing children being children, not just quick posed smiles.  One customer was viewing her proofs and her eyes got all misty.  She said, "You captured the essence of my children."   That's what its all about.

I want your portraits to be perfect, so I attend to all the details, from lighting and composition to proofing and development.  I also offer custom framing, so you can choose from 5 frame styles and a wide variety of mat colors right in your own home.  This way you know the finished product will fit perfectly in the room where you want to display it.
